I am an experienced Technical Support Engineer, Data Migrations Engineer, Ecommerce Specialist, and hobby developer. My speciality in Ecommerce is in subscription-based business models, but I aslo have a deep understanding of the Shopify ecosystem as a whole.
In October 2013, I began a career as a Ski Patroller at Vail Resort. This position taught me empathy, responsibility, pushed me well beyond my comfort zone, and allowed me to grow in ways I never thought possible. I learned the importance of teamwork, leadership, and gained the ability to adapt easily to what is presented.
In the summer of 2020, a far-fetched dream planted itself in my brain...the dream of being a Software Engineer. It was something I thought was unattainable for so long, but as the desire grew, I started researching ways to make that dream a reality.
After months of debate, research, and a little self-doubt, I finally pulled the trigger and started down the path to becoming a full stack software engineer. Through pure determination and hard work, I have completed over half of the program so far and have enjoyed every second....yes, even the valleys of despair were an opportunity to grow and learn.
In November of 2021, I finally landed my first tech job at Recharge. This opportunity has allowed me to grow is so many ways, and solidifed my future within the tech industry. My time at Recharge has allowed me to grow my understanding of ECommerce, enahnce my understanding of the Shopify ecosystem, and become a subject matter specialist in subscription-based business models.
